Due to COVID restrictions and border closures currently in place we have made the decision to defer the announcement of the internship until February 2022.
Farmbot is seeking a highly motivated individual who has an interest in the agriculture industry. The Farmbot Internship is a paid program designed for a student who is in their final year of study at a tertiary institution. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience working within a scaling agtech to assist with solving problems and providing cost effective solutions to farmers. The internship is designed to increase an understanding of career prospects in agtech, to create a new pool of industry leaders and network of professionals.
Farmbot aspires to become the next big Australian technology success story. The fun and dynamic environment will allow students to learn from all aspects of the business over the 6-week program. This is a paid internship and will be based at the Farmbot Head Office in North Sydney.
Rural and interstate students are highly encouraged to apply as interstate travel expenses will be covered. So dust off your boots, or for now , your CV and apply.

Who you are
– In your final year of study or recently graduated from tertiary agricultural based degree or equivalent
– Background or interest to pursue a career in agriculture (Students from an agricultural background are strongly encouraged to apply)
– Originate from a rural or regional area
– Be passionate, driven and motivated
– Be able to commit to full time employment for 6 weeks
– An Australian Citizens, permanent residents of Australia

Farmbot’s remote water monitors are designed to be installed quickly by a farm hand, reducing cost as no specialist installer is required. The monitors work anywhere in the world using satellite or cellular networks. Farmbot alerts are near real-time and instantly inform a farmer if the water level is changing via sms, email and the Farmbot cloud dashboard.
