Get up to $50,000 OFF Farmbot Water Monitoring
Queensland farmers can claim a 25% rebate (up to $50,000) on Farmbot solutions through the QLD Drought Preparedness Grants to improve farm water security, reduce labour and water waste.

Who can apply?
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a primary producer operating in Queensland.
- Have a Farm Business Resilience Plan outlining your drought preparedness strategy.
- Fund 75% of the project cost, with the grant covering up to 25% (maximum of $50,000).
- Obtain any necessary regulatory approvals before applying.
- Ensure your project has not commenced before grant approval (deposits made within 90 days before application may be eligible).

What solutions are eligible?
Eligible solutions include:
- Farmbot Monitor: Provides remote monitoring of water tanks, dams, bores, and more with real-time insights.
- Farmbot lite: A compact, affordable monitoring solution for smaller operations to monitor individual water tanks.
- Rain Gauge: Tracks and records rainfall data to assist in planning and resource management.
- Pump Control: Remotely operate and monitor pumps to save time and reduce labor.
- Trough Monitoring: Keep livestock water supplies at optimal levels with real-time trough monitoring.
- Water Flow Sensor: Accurately measure water flow to identify leaks or inefficiencies in your system.
How much funding can I receive?
✔ Grant covers 25% of project costs (farmer funds 75%).
✔ Minimum grant: $1,000
✔ Maximum grant: $50,000 (over a 5-year period).
How do I apply?
Step 1: Submit your application
- Review guidelines and confirm eligibility.
- Prepare a Farm Business Resilience Plan detailing drought preparedness actions.
- Get quotes for your infrastructure investment.
- Complete and submit your application via QRIDA (by post, email, or fax).
Step 2: Approval & grant offer
- QRIDA will assess applications in order of receipt.
- If approved, you’ll receive a written grant offer (conditional approvals may apply).
Step 3: Complete your project
- You must start within 90 days of approval and complete within 6 months.
- Keep all invoices and receipts.
Step 4: Receive payment
- QRIDA reimburses 25% of approved costs after receiving proof of payment.
- Payments can be made directly to suppliers or reimbursed to you.
